denouncing the cruel and racist Tsunami Song by Miss Jones and Todd Lynn aired over Hot 97, the hip hop radio station in New York.

The news of Hot 97's racist tsunami song is filtering through to the tsunami hit countries of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Thailand, South India. People are incensed at the song which goes beyond human decency. The governments of the tsunami hit region have been urged to take the matter up with the US Government as it insults the deaths of so many tsunami victims.

Franchement, c'est écoeurant de lire des textes comme ça

A vouloir etre trop le pays des libertés d'expression, il arrive parfois que ( ou souvent ) des imbeciles passent a travers.
Choquant mais bon, ce que je trouve le plus aberrant et encore plus surnois c'est de faire du commerce sur le dos de cette catastrophe .... avec un gout vraiment a ch***.

C'est clair que c'est "abusé", cependant je m'étonne que personne (ou presque) ne se soit offensé des choses suivantes :

La course à l'image "scoop" opérée par une quantité de média.

Le traffic d'enfants devenus orphelins est une réalité.

Ces "braves" gens qui adoptent à gogo... mais pas n'importe qui voyons ! pas ce petit avec 3 doigts en moins, pas cet autre petit à la peau "pas très asiatique".

Bref, on crie au scandale sur une chanson dont les textes sont effectivement condamnables, mais en même temps elle dénonce par "sa liberté d'expression" une liberté d'action non moins condamnable !

Je suis d'accord avec Latinus. Je ne trouve pas cette chanson drôle du tout, parce que malheureusement elle dénonce des faits tout à fait réels (trafics d'enfants, adoption sur un coup de tête et naturellement pas n'importe quel enfant, médias qui nous abreuvent de scoops jusqu'à l'indécense). Miss Jones and Todd Lynn ont sans doute voulu dénoncer ces dérives, mais ils sont allés loin dans le cynisme et je comprends que les victimes soient choquées.
