Today a European market opened here on the town hall square. The weather was just perfect as well, so I spent my lunch break on that market, had a little piece of Italian pizza for lunch, after that French crêpes.... and when my break was over I bought 2 metres of Swedish licorice which I shared with my colleagues back at work.
When I finished work and went to the tube station, I came across the market again and had a Danish hot dog for dinner, and now I'm sitting here and can't even move because I'm so full!
I love those kind of markets because of that international flair and all the different foreign languages you can listen to!
What about you? Do you like international markets (or other international events) like that? Anything special in your home town?

In a month there will be the "Printemps des langues" here in Toulouse on the big central square (Capitole), it is not really a market but rather a place for every possible language to be shown through posters, books, music etc but also cultural items and food!

Ohhhh, Olivier, that sounds a fantastic place to be! Too bad that I'm not allowed to take holidays before August this year! A trip to France would have been great!
By the way, I've never been in France (just some intermediate landings in Paris, but that doesn't count!
Will you go to that "Printemps des langues"?

Well unfortunately I'll have to be out of town in the afternoon that day (May 25th) but earlier I might have a look or give a hand, because it is indeed a fascinating place to visit for language lovers!
