I live in Argentina and Spanish is my mother tongue but I had to look that expression in a dictionary becouse it's the first time I hear about the so-called Baby Shower.
Here we don't give these parties any particular name. You could say "fiesta en la que se le dan regalos a una mujer que va a tener un bebé" although it's a bit too long :P .

In Mexico, the expression “baby shower” has not been translated. It entered the language as the words “flash”, “internet” and “CD” did. I guess they did that because instead of saying "fiesta en la que se le dan regalos a una mujer que va a tener un bebé" is easier to say “baby shower”.

im peruvian ,.. baby shower in spanish is accepted like "baby shower" , it is associated with the idea of "fiesta en la que se le dan regalos a una mujer que va a tener un bebé" that it means "celebration in which gifts occur him to a woman who is going to have a baby"
