hello, could somebody please suggest a translation of "the valiant die but once" into latin for me...bastardised shakespea from julius caesar. much appreciated.

I think it is Shakespeare's invention ; I do not any roman or greek historian who would have related such a word of Caesar.
Anyway, I would say : "Fortes semel moriuntur".
