english to latin

Post by debora »

Hi

It´s the second time I´m writing in the forum. Thank you Tom, for helping me that other time!!

What I need now is to know the latin translation for this:

"Raise from the death and let me see you!!"

I´m kind of writing a ghost story and I need that to sound really scary.

Thank you!!

salutations,

we would like to make this translation to Latin, but unfortunately we can't understand what what you mean in this phrase, "Raise from the death".
what does this mean?

best regards,
Merci de corriger notre français si nécessaire.

Sorry, it´s just that english is my second languaje. I´m spanish. I know a little bit of english, french and hebrew. But just a little, though I try to use them so that I can keep on learning based on practice!!

I guess it would be - raise from the dead - , meaning that someone would wake up among the dead in his grave ... as in a ghost or vampire.

"Raise from the dead and let me see you!!"

The main dificult concerns the second part. I propose you :

" Exsurge ab morte et appare ante me",

which means approximately : "stand up from the death and appear in front of mine".
