I'm looking for Chukchi or Inuit translations of
"snow angel" or "snow dog."

I'm really looking to come up with a more interesting name for my siberian husky (and other northern breeds) rescue group.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

the Inuit word for dog is qimmik (ᕿᒻᒥᒃ) (read as /kee-meek/). the plural is qimiit (read it as /kee-meet/).

the word for angel is anirnisiaq (ᐊᓂᕐᓂᓯᐊᖅ) read as /ah-neekh-nee-see-ah-kh/. the plural is anirnisiat /ah-neekh-nee-see-aht/.
