कर्म

in Sanskrit, the principle of "karma" (nominative form for the rootword कर्मन् "karman-"), in "Hinduism", is the principle of action and reaction: it says that everything you do, good or bad, will return someday as a good or bad reaction, according to your actions.
the rootword "karman-" itself means "action".
