English to Tamil: "Try not to burn this one!"

Post by douglas.swehla »

Last Christmas, I gave my friend a coffee mug she'd had her eye on. Unfortunately, she didn't realize that it wasn't microwave safe, and it now has funny looking patches in the plastic parts.

Today is her birthday, and she's getting a new ceramic mug. I thought it would be a nice touch to write the card out in her home language. I found "Happy Birthday" (Pirrannetha-nale Vazhthigale) on the common phrases page, but need help with the rest.

I thought about trying a dictionary, but haven't the faintest idea how the grammar should work, so thought it best to go straight to a human. The absolute coolest would be a pic of the whole phrase (Happy Birthday! Try not to burn this one!) written out in the proper character set, but plain Roman characters would be just fine.

Thanks in advance,
Douglas
