Albanian Sayings

I am teaching a class in English for Speakers of other Languages, and I am trying to use home language references for my adult students. I cannot find aphorisms in Albanian with English Translations. Can anyone help?

I am Albanian and would be glad to help you translate some Albanian aphorisms, if only you write me the English version. Then I'll try to give you the Albanian version.
with Albanian aphorisms, I guess you mean proverbs, dont'you?

Thanks, Laura. What I'm actually looking for is Albanian proverbs. I want to use them to illustrate to my Albanian students what I mean by a proverb. If you know any common Albanian proverbs, I would love it if you could share a couple of them. If you could type them in Albanian, and then add an English translation (so I know what I'm saying!) I would be grateful.
