Sanskrit doubt / Samshaya samskrite (word "good")

नमो वः namo vah!
salutations!
we have a little doubt concerning Sanskrit vocabulary...
we want to know the different translations for the word "good" in the context.
we know there is a compound word for "good", which is सु- su-.
for example, स्वश्वः su+ashva = svashva (good horse).
this is an option for qualitative adjective. but what about predicative adjectives? for example, "it is good".
we are sure it is not तत् सु tat su, because that just wouldn't make sense grammatically.
maybe, तत् सत् tat sat (it is good)?
any thoughts?

The word used in this context is सुष्ठु

सुष्ठु तव भाषांतरम् = suShThu tava bhAShAMtaram

means your translation is good.

we would also like to know how to say the verb "to think" in Sanskrit...
we think it's अवगम्- (avagam-), like in सुष्ठु एतद् अवगच्चामि (suSThu etad avagacchaami), "I think it's good/well"... is it right?
but what if we say "I think I'm seeing it"? would it be with the verb मन्- (man-) and a verbal substantive? for example, तत्पश्यं मन्ये (tatpashyan manye), "I think I'm seeing it" ("I believe in the vision of it"). is it correct?
if we are bothering you, tell us... that's because we have little doubts with Sanskrit pragmatics.
