Hi!
I would like to share with you a great experience I had last night, at the very heart of Villa Borghese, in Rome. Maybe, some of you know that Roma, since 2003, has its own Globe Theatre, the identical theatre where Shakespeare’s works were played during Queen Elisabeth’s Age. A great idea! The architects have recreated a copy of the globe Theatre of London: open-air yard, rectangular stage, wooden structure etc.
Shakespeare’s most important works have been staged during this summer and last night it was “Julius Caesar”’s turn. Great performance, great scenes, great atmosphere. I had the impressione of being immersed in that period of time, it seemed to me I was in the middle of the Roman intrigues. The entire show was characterized by a very creepy and frightening atmosphere. If you happen to be in Rome in summer, just don’t miss the shows!!!
Byeee!!!!!
