Aide traduction français/anglais

• Program : Ensemble organisé d’apprentissages sanctionnés ou non par des unités de valeur et pouvant conduire à l’obtention d’un diplôme

i try it this way

a program is a set of organized learnings approved or not by a value units leading to the obtainment of a diploma

does it exist in english ' value units " in this context

hope to get some suggestions

I think unites de valeur should be translated as credits, but that is just a guess based on the context since I don't know the French terms well.
Diploma in English is only mostly for high school, versus degree for university. I don't know if there is a distinction in French.

Program: Organized group of courses, which may or may not be approved via a credit system, which leads to the receipt of a degree

It really sound good to me, regarding the correspondance between French and English... Maybe it would be more accurate to say "[...] which may/is likely to lead to the receipt of a degree."

However, defining a "program(me)", according to me is closely related to the domain in which this word is to be understood. In this case, we are dealing with education, so the may/is likely would refer to a possible failure of the student at the end of the year, so that he would obviously not receive a degree. ;)

I would try it this way:
a program is a set of organized tutoring levels that must be passed by an approved score in order to obtain a diploma (degree)
