I've been trying for a few days to write a nice enough cover letter in order to appy for an internship in an electronics company.
I would be grateful if you could tell me what is wrong with my letter or what could be improved.
Subject : internship application.
To whom it may concern.
Dear sir, madam,
I am a fifth-year student at <name>, a well-known 5-year course school of engineering. I specialized last year in electronics and as part of my course of studies, i need to complete a 5 to 6 month internship. given my desire to have an international career and my growing interest in embedded electronics, working for your company would be the perfect first step of my career. This is why i would like to offer you my service from mid-january to june/august 2009.
The broad electronics curriculum i received makes me confident that i would successfully complete any tasks you might assign me to. Moreover, being eager to learn and top of my class two years in a row, i am sure to quickly become efficient. Indeed, i was able to design and program a controller in a previously unknown language (vb.net) in less that four months during my school project. I realized during this project that it was really thrilling to work with different objectives and economic stakes. Therefore, i am looking forward to repeating this experience in your company.
working at fedex the last two summers, i became used to working dynamically to respect the time restraints. Besides, my ability to get on well with people made me develop nice relationships with my coworkers and clients.
Thus, my current sets of skills and my wish to improve my knowledge in embedded electronics assures me that my internship in your company would be a great experience for both of us.
Iremain available for any further information you might want. You can contact me on <cellphone> or <mail>.
looking forward to your reply.

Question de respecter les règles. Une confirmation demeure toujours de mise.
