En espagnol, galicien et portugais, ces mots viennent du Français, je crois.

Portugais: covarde, covardia

Galicien: covarde, covardía (Pas la même chose, notez l'accent sur le i ;) )

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize we're in the English forum now. I'm so obsessed with trying to do my best in the French Forum that I have worked more than necessary. :-?

Anyway, I don't think my comments are worth to be translated. ;) I'll translate just the important words:

Portugais=Portuguese
Galicien=Galician

In Bulgarian :

coward = страхливец [strakhlivets]
cowardice = страхливост [strakhlivost]

from the word страх [strakh] meaning "fear"

We could also say, closer to the English form: "couard" and "couardise"

In Thai...

- coward: คนขี้ขลาด (kon kee-klat)

- cowardice: ความขลาด (kwam-klat)

Out of curiosity, why do you need these words in all languages?

An answer in one of Leeloo Multipass's postings

made me think of this one.

Swedish:

Cowardice: Feghet, rädsla

Coward is harder. There's old words like 'pultron' and newer slang words like the childish 'fegis' But I guess most people do say 'fegis' or the more humiliating 'kruka'. But what do I know? I haven't used any of the words for ages.

Edit: Rädsla is another word for cowardice. Perhaps a better one
