In Irish Gaelic, "más" means mace, buttocks, and thigh. And in Brazillian Portugese, depending on context, it can mean, but, even, however, only, still, yet, indeed, defect, hindrance, objection, and obstacle.

In English it could be the plural form of ma (the shortened form of mama, meaning mother).
i.e. Our mas sit down and eat the paper together every morning.
