Can anyone give a translation from Norwegian to English of this sentence>



"Jeg er av den mening at vi trenger «slark» i skjønnlitterært forleggeri – det tar tid å se hva som kan bli godt – men vi trenger det ikke i sakprosaforleggeriet."

Hej!

I have absolutely no idea what "slark" means... And I'm not sure if "sakprosaforleggeriet" really means "legal publications", I mean, books and stuff about laws and legal things...

My opinion is that we need <slark> in the publication of fiction - it takes time to see what will turn out good - but we don't need it in legal publications.

"sakprosaforleggeriet" means "non-fiction publishing" /first of all dictionaries, art history books, politics etc.../

Is it possible that modern usage is being changing so quickly?! Present perfect disappears rapidly, a verb WANtT appears more and more in continous form /I'm speaking of English/ and Norwegian becomes more and more "slengish' ...
