Several phrases

Post by Sandra Solaria Dees »

I'm mostly looking for Finnish, Norwegian, and French translations of these phrases, but I really would like to know them in as many languages as you can provide. :D

'I want to go home.'
'I want to leave.'
'You're so beautiful.'
'Grow up.'
'I want you to hold me.'
'Could you be anymore immature?'
'I can't wait until tonight.'
'Take me now!' (Sexual connotation)
'I never want to leave.'
'Don't leave me.'

Thank you!!

Here's the Finnish (in the same order).

Haluan kotiin.
Haluan pois täältä.
Olet niin kaunis. (when speaking to a woman) / Olet niin komea. (when speaking to a man)
Kasva.
Haluaisin, että halisit minua.
Miten voit olla niin epäkypsä?
Maltan tuskin odottaa iltaan.
Pane minua.
En halua pois koskaan.
Älä jätä minua.

Sandra Solaria Dees wrote:'Take me now!' (Sexual connotation)
Does your request mean:
- translate only the sexual meaning (as I did above, no other meaning is possible)
- or: translate so that the phrase has a sexual connotation but still has another non-sexual meaning? (eg.: take my wrist when dancing, or: marry me and not someone else, etc.)

I think it is a sarcastic way to tell someone "you are immature", something like:
Comment (est-ce que) tu fais pour avoir si peu de maturité?

Italian
Voglio tornare a casa.
Voglio andarmene.
Sei così bella (for a female person) / bello (for a male person)
Cresci!
Voglio che tu mi stringa.
Riusciresti ad essere ancora più immatura?
Non vedo l'ora che sia stanotte.
Prendimi! (only context can determine whether the sentence has a sexual meaning or is referred to a childish game, because it also means "Catch me!")
Non voglio andarmene mai più (di qua).
Non lasciarmi.

German
Ich will heim.
Ich will weg (von hier).
Du bist so schön.
Werd erwachsen.
Ich will, dass du mich umarmst.
Könntest du noch kindischer sein?
Ich freue mich auf heute Nacht.
Nimm mich!
Ich möchte nie weg von hier.
Verlass mich nicht.

P.S.: There is also a song of Jacques Brel, Ne me quitte pas, which was translated in German with the title "Bitte, geh' nicht fort".
Wir brauchen keinen Appetit, wir haben den Hunger. (Bertolt Brecht)
