Re: conjugaison de verbes en anglais
Hello!
In those days, she used to like going out to the movies once a week.
It was raining when we visited them that day. So, they lent us an umbrella. - Very good.
They never go on holiday to the same place twice. - Very good.
She was the most successful athlete in her group.le superlatif est-il bien ? - Very good.
Your parents are more open-minded than mine. - Very good
I'm good at physics but he is better at maths. What is the problem here? What are you comparing?
Also consider: I'm good at physics but I am better at maths
or: I'm better at physics but he is better at maths.
I think there must be either a comparison, or an oposition...
Anyway, I may be wrong here...

Re: conjugaison de verbes en anglais
Je dirais plutot 'She liked to go out to the movies...' si on considère la phrase originale 'She likes going out to the movies...'zcalin wrote:Hello!

Yeah, that's good, of course...Lanig wrote:Je dirais plutot 'She liked to go out to the movies...' si on considère la phrase originale 'She likes going out to the movies...'zcalin wrote:Hello!

Now that I read your sentence, I really think it sounds better than mine.
