Qui veut gagner des millions? Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Salut à tous,
j'aimerais avoir le titre de ce jeu dans le plus de langues possible, en particulier le chinois. Merci à vous !

Romanian: Vrei să fii miliardar? ("Do you want to be a BILLIONEER?")
- the Romanian title refers to BILLION and not to MILLION because the Romanian currency unit (ROL) is very weak. ROL 1,000,000 = EUR 30.
(The situation will change in about one month, as the National Bank of Romania will start issuing on July the 1st the New Romanian Leu, each new unit having the value of 10,000 old units. I guess they will have to change the name of the game then...

It's crazy how the time just seems to fly

You may feel alone when you’re falling asleep
And every time tears roll down your cheeks
But I know your heart belongs to someone you’ve yet to meet
Someday you will be loved

Coins are becoming more and more obsolete, as Romania becomes a more and more expensive country. Even the gypsies in central Bucharest (the beggers and wind-shield washers), if you give them coins, they will throw them back at you!!!Nephilim wrote:that's great !! i didn't know that ! at last one won't have to go buy a new car with a cart full of coins

There are credit cards and POS machines everywhere. I guess we're becoming more and more plastic-addicted

Exactly! Romania is the only European country in which ONE EURO is transformed into the national currency unit at an exchange rate with 5 digits!!! EUR 1 = ROL 35,000!!! Starting in July the 1st, the exchange rate will be EUR 1 = ROL 3.5! Now that's more like it!alex51 wrote:I think it's in order to be ready for entering the UE...

i remember when i was a kid, when i used to spend summer holidays in bucharest, when we were going to buy, like, sodas or ice-cream or even bread ; my aunt always paid several hundred thousands of Lei and i was like "damn, life's expensive here"

J'ai repris le nom du jeu dans ces différents pays, il ne s'agit donc pas toujours de la même traduction.
