Have you downloaded Tamil fonts?

maybe it's because you don't have the Tamil support installed.

(we are presuming you use Windows and Internet Explorer)

try this:

in Internet Explorer, click in the menu "View", then "Encoding", then choose "Unicode (UTF-8)".
note: our Internet Explorer is in Portuguese (our native language), so we are not sure about the translations of the menu names.
