English (originally Czech) to Japanese

Post by gorthaur »

this is for our friend farewell party as he will be leaving to Japan for long, we would like to have a few banners with signs in japanese
"sake is not beer" (which i already tried to translate as 酒はビールじゃありません) :drink:
"japanese kitchen [cooking, cuisine]" (will be hung above a cooking place, my attempt: 日本料理)
"with japanese empire for eternal times [forevermore]" (a reference to a well known (in czechoslovakia) phrase "with soviet union for eternal times" used in communistic propaganda)
"land [of] czech - home [homeland, asylum] of yours" (actual line from czech anthem)
i am keen on both kanji and kana, but if i have to choose, i prefer kanji
if you accidentaly happen to know or make up a suitable and/or funny phrase for the occasion, dont hesitate to post it, but dont try too hard, just ignore this line
these are best to be done in 36 hours (party beginning), but thanx for all your help
