hi, i'd like to translate the meaning of my name, michelle, "who is like the lord?" into hebrew. it is derived from the hebrew name, meshak in the old testament. thank you!

Wait a minute... I found it. It's just that in my version of the Bible it appears Misach, although the original is מֵישָׁךְ [meyshakh]. What it is that you want to know about this name?

I don't want to hi-jack your thread... but could someone please give me Romans 12:21 in Hebrew text. It reads... "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Thanks

.אַל־נָא יִכְבָּשְׁךָ הָרָע כְּבוֹשׁ אָתָּה אֶת־הָרַע בַּטּוֹב
[al na ikhbashkha hara' kvosh ata et hara' batov]
P.S. You know that the New Testament was originally written in Ancient Greek, and not in Hebrew, right?
Edit: Sorry, Gilen, I was busy typing, didn't see your post on time...

Another translation gives :
אַל־תִּכָּבֵשׁ לִפְנֵי הָרָע כִּי אִם־כְּבֹשׁ אֶת־הָרַע לְפָנֶי בַּטּוֹב׃
