Would greatly appreciate the English translation of this Vedic Mantra: "VAKRATUNDA MAHAKAYA SURYA-KOTI SAMAPRABHA NIRVIGHNAM KURU ME DEVA SARVA KARYESHU SARVADA" Thanks very much.

in devanagari:
वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्य कोटि सम प्रभा। निर्विघ्नम् कुरु मे देव सर्व कार्येषु सर्वदा।

in an attempt to make a word-by-word translation, here's what we got:
vakratunda - curved trunk.
mahaakaaya - large body.
vakratunda mahaakaaya - O, one with curved trunk and large body.
suurya koti - one million suns
sama - like
prabhaa - brilliance
suurya koti sama prabhaa - with the brilliance of a million suns.
nirvighnam - free of obstacles
kuru - make
me - my
deva - O Lord
sarva - all
kaaryeshu - in (the) works
sarvadaa - always
nirvighnam kuru me deva sarva kaaryeshu sarvadaa - make, O Lord, all my works free of obstacles, always.

The word sooryakotisamaprabha is a single word. It is to be written continuously as it is a composite word.
