I just wondered why you would dishonor the latin inscription.
In my book traduce means dishonor (dishonour)
traduce, misrepresent, defame
To cause humiliation or disgrace to by making malicious and false statements
Regarding the translation of the Latin text I am sorry that I can't help you, but my Latin is very, very rusty, so I hope someone else will give you a hand
Cheers

My english is not very developed and I try to improve it
You have the right point.solbjerg wrote:Are you French by any chance? That may explain your choice of the word.
There are a lot of false friends in French/English.
Moreover, he put "in fact" (thing which is seen in French) instead of "actually" (also another false friend).
Un Kitsune d'une galaxie lointaine... Oui,c'est moi...
What do you mean by "false friends"?

So you are saying that "false friend" is synonomous with "bad choice of words"? Can you direct me to where I can verify that interpretation?
Thanks, it's interesting!

Hi gorginus,
I saw a site last year that had a section on latin inscriptions which might
be worth a look if you are still looking for help.
it's called neonostalgia, google it
