need english into latin translation

hey people i need your help, PLEASE!
i wish to translate the phrase "one with the sea" into latin
an old lady said it would be "unum in mare" but she said that she could be wrong please help.

"unum in mare" means "one <thing> (neutral) into the sea (accusative = movement)".

Word-for-word, "one with the sea" could be translated "unus cum mari", but I am not sure, actually, that I have correcty understood what "one with the sea" does signify (sory, I'm french :français: )... If it is "someone in front of the see", then the correct sentence would be "aliquis prae mari"...

:roll: Si un francophone pouvait me donner quelques précisions...

I would say it means in French: ne faisant qu'un avec la mer
(like in the movie Le grand bleu, you see?)
