Hi! I am translating a sentence from English to Yiddish and I got stuck on the word "saplings" (young trees).
I found one translation -- "schnekn" -- but the definition is "snails; saplings" and I wonder if there isn't a better word in Yiddish.

I don't know much Yiddish, but you might be able to say something like "yunger boymer". Hopefully someone who knows more will reply.
