A really useful phrase
I always make a point of being able to say at least 'please', 'thankyou', 'yes' and 'no' in the language of the country to which I am travelling, but by far the most useful phrase has to be "Two Beers, please!"
How woud you say this in other languages?
Many thanks

We already translated "Can I have a beer?" in many languages. See here
Is it enough for you, or do you want precisely "two beers, please ?"

In Korean : 맥주 두 잔 주세요 (maek-ju du jan ju-se-yo)
If you need to precise that you want draft beer you will say 생맥주 (saeng-maek-ju) instead of 맥주 (maek-ju)
However Korean beer is less than average and you should try the local traditionnal alcohols ^^

Cierto!!! Aunque por lo general lo del por favor, suele brillar por su ausencia, y es más normal decir me pone/s dos cañas/dos cervezas. (o dos pintas).Gilen wrote:If you say that you will have two beers in bottles. If you want draft beers, say : ¡ Dos cañas, por favor !MOHICAN wrote:En español, in spañish: ¡Dos cervezas, por favor!
C'est vrai, mais en général on ne dit pas "por favor", et on dit "me pone/s dos cañas/dos cervezas". (ou dos pintas).
¡¡SALUD!!
