Pet names for Lovers in all languages

Post by WampyreRoxAnne »

Hey, I was wondering if you guys could help me out yet again *grins*

I'd like to know how to say some pet names. My girlfriend and I like to stump each other with other languages. We're nerds like that :D

Here's a list of those I'd like to see, but certainly, if you know of any others, please, by all means, post them.
Also, since these are to a girl from a girl, if the language you're posting has a difference, please keep it in mind. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing male to female, female to male, and male to male.

Sweetheart
Sweetie
Darling
Kitten
Beautiful
Lover
Dear
Dearest
Lovely
Love
Cashew (My own silly name for my girlfriend)
Almond (Her retaliation for Cashew :loljump: )
Heart
Silly

My poor ...insert any of the above nicknames
My ...insert any of the above nicknames again. :D

Mine (as in 'You are mine')
Yours (as in 'I am yours')

Also, I was wondering if 'moy lisa' meant anything in Russian. I read it in a story. :c-com-ca:

Am I so greatful for all of the work you guys do fulfilling these requests.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the links. I saw the first one last night, and I got some ideas from the second, but I'd still like to see what others have to say, since there are big differences between 'my love' and some of those on the second page.

I'm really interested in seeing what 'Almond' and 'Cashew' are, because those are our weird pet names :D

Thanks again!

I'm not sure, since you gave it in latin characters, but it's possible you read "moya Lisa" (Моя Лиза) in English "my Lisa (nickname for Elizabeth)." Moy (Мой) is the masculine form of "my." I can't imagine what else "lisa" could be.
