hi,
I'm a fanfic writer, and i really need help with some English to Latin Translations for my story.
The first is the title, "Have Mercy" (as in please have mercy).
My second request is sort of the other way around... I recently sung Haydns nelson mass in concert, but i have no idea what i was singing. Could someone tell me what kyrie Elieson means?
And finally, would someone be willing to be conatcted off list, on a semi regular basis for latin translation help for my story? If so my email adress is cute_baby_dragon@hotmail.com
Thank you so much for your help.
Jennie

But it is true that "kyrie eleison" is a modern-like pronunciation. According of traditionnal academic pronunciation, it has to be said "kürie eleêson".

According to what I find in the net, the texte of the Nelson Mass is the Missa in angustiis (mass in time of anguish). But I hadn't found the entire lyrics. If you find them I could translate. My second request is sort of the other way around... I recently sung Haydns nelson mass in concert, but i have no idea what i was singing.

If you have a few words to translate, I can. Please write them on the forum (answers are always on the forum, that is the rules). But for a text, sorry, I am too lazy for now.
